OUR VISION

“Renewing Minds and Transforming Lives with The Word of God”

Our Vision: It is our goal to preach and teach the Word of God in a practical way to renew minds and transform the lives of God’s people (Disciples) which will produce God-centered lives. This transformation will allow Disciples to live empowered, victorious and whole lives. It will produce fruitful evangelism through multiplication, edification and transformation by the reproduction of faithful Disciples living fruitful lives in Christ Jesus and willing to serve others as a form of worship to God.

Romans 12:2 “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

OUR MISSION

Mission Statement: Provoking God’s People to Fulfill Their Destiny & The Great Commission.

The mission of Glory Tabernacle Got The Victory Deliverance Ministry is to nurture and equip Disciples for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the Body of Christ (Church). It is our belief that all Christians (Disciples) are called to minister (serve) in some capacity. Since a working knowledge of the Scriptures is necessary to fulfill the Great Commission, we desire to teach people how to apply the Word of God to their own lives so that they not only live an abundant life in Christ (Ephesians 3:20) but to lead and teach others to as well.

Matthew 28:18-20 “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”

We also desire to use God’s Word to empower God’s people (Disciples) to fulfill their specific call/destiny.

2 Peter 1:10 “Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure for if ye do these things, ye shall never fail.”

The Overall Mission of the Church:
• Worship God: Luke 4:8; John 4:24
• Evangelism: Matthews 28:18-20
• Train Disciples: Ephesians 4:11-12
• To Be a Witness for Jesus Christ: Acts 22:14-15

OUR BELIEFS

We Believe:

The Triune God: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost operate as One. We believe in the Deity and Incarnation of Jesus Christ

The Entire Bible: The Scriptures written by the inspiration of God as the only infallible Word of God. 2 Timothy 3:16

We believe in the death, burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ and that He ascended bodily into Heaven and is now seated at the right hand of God the Father as our Mediator, High Priest, and Advocate.

Salvation: Atonement was made for our sins by the shed blood of Jesus Christ on the Cross. Therefore, Salvation is available for all who believe that Jesus died for our sins and God has raised him from the dead. Jesus is the only way, the truth, and the life: no man comes to the Father, except through Jesus. John 14:6

Romans 10:9-10 “That if though shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, though shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Water Baptism (Acts 10:47-48): After a Believer has received salvation and accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we believe that he/she should be baptized in water in the Name of Jesus as an outward demonstration of an inward change. We believe when we are baptized in the Name of Jesus we are baptized into His death, burial and resurrection. Our old nature is buried and we are raised into newness of life. Romans 6:2-6 (NKJV) “..How should we who died to sin live any longer in it? Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?

Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection, knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin.

The Baptism of the Holy Spirit: We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance. It is a free gift that is available to every Believer. Acts 1:8; John 14

The Church/The Body of Christ: Each believer born of God’s Spirit is a part of the Body and should not forsake the general assembly. Ephesians 1:22; 2:19-22

Holy Communion: The Lord’s Supper as the ordinances of the Church to be observed in remembrance of Jesus Christ’s death, burial and resurrection that has set us free from sin and death and His victory over satan, hell and the grave. Luke 22:17-23

Tithing: We believe in tithing 10 percent of all our increase according to the Word of God. The word tithe means tenth. God’s Word says in Malachi 3:10-11 “Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in Mine House (God’s Church), and prove Me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the Lord of hosts.

We believe in Prosperity in all aspects of the Believer’s life to include Spiritual (John 3:2; 2 Cor. 5:17-21), Mental (2 Tim. 1:7; Romans 12:2), Physical (Isaiah 53:4-5; Matt. 8:17) and Financial prosperity (3 John 1:2; Mal.3:10-11; John 10:10).

Divine Healing through Faith and that healing is included in the Atonement. Isaiah 53:4-5

We believe in the operation of the gifts of the Spirit. I Cor. 12:4-10

We believe in the authority of the believer over satan and the victory to be gained by the exercise of that authority in the areas of deliverance, healing and holiness. Ephesians 1:20-23, 6:10-17

We believe in the autonomy of the local church as an independent entity with regard to the matters of government, polity operation and discipline. I Cor. 5:5; II Thess. 3:6, 14-15; Acts 11:22; Titus 1:5

Evangelism (Witnessing): Sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ locally and abroad through domestic and international missions work in accordance with the Great Commission. Matt. 28:19-20
